zico, read an article on that today. Apparently they get them to loads of those videos where they read out those statements, so when it comes to the execution one, they read it out normally thinking it's just another video.

Personally I think all aid workers should be brought back from hot spots and possibly journalists too, although that's probably a difficult one.
I mean, these guys are admirable in wanting to help but surely half these places are beyond help, especially if those you are helping may have one or two who would rather be helping the other side! And is helping refugees elsewhere at a risk area worth it considering the awful situation you put yourself and your family in when you get captured and brutally murdered?!
Bring all Brits/Americans whatever home then you take this sick propaganda tool away from these terrorists.
Also, something has been bugging me. I saw a news report the other day which pretty much took you up to the end of the video re David Haines. Haines looked rather calm and collected even when the savage put his hand on Haines shoulder just prior I assume to the murder.
Now are these guys drugged? Are they just accepting of their fate? Are they unaware of what is about to happen? Or are these videos an act with the murder committed later? I am just extremely baffled as to how someone could apparently be so calm with such a horrific way to die just moments away?
